I have had a lot of fun in the studio this week, making all sorts of things. This is a little fabric collage I made today (photograph is not the best) and I named it “Sweetcakes” because I think the little girl has such a sweet face. Andrew is coming for dinner tonight – his request is “Scotch Stew” otherwise known as “Mince and Tatties” in Scotland. He heads back to Georgia tomorrow. :( At least I know he is stateside which gives me some peace of mind. Happy Friday everyone!
About Sugar Lump Studios
I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

love this! she is so precious and your choice of fabrics is perfect!!!
Hi Nancy,
Your collage is so pretty……I could use lace on everything !! That little girl does have a sweet face. I have never made a fabric collage, but I should give it a try. I can imagine it would give you some peace of mind knowing your son is in the states. You must be so proud to be an Army Mom. Have a wonderful day.
