I’m trying to get my mojo back after having surgery nearly two weeks ago and it ain’t easy! The past few days have been much better, but I had forgotten how weak surgery makes our bodies. Unfortunately, the pain from incisions I do remember…but day by day I hope that will also get better. Now I am trying to get my days back in order and find the energy for creative time. Thank you to all those who sent words of encouragement or just checked in. It really means the world to me!

This little fabric book I made with a tea stained method. Little collage images (Irish Rose Nostalgia), vintage laces and buttons have been added. I added 2 hand made heart pins to the pocket pages to add dimension.

Here’s hoping in the next few weeks mojo will return and standing on my feet for long periods of time. Happy Wednesday!

I remember well the pain and discomfort when I had my surgery, and thought it would never go away. Took several weeks, but great to be over it! I love your tea stained books, always the most beautiful! Hope you get your mojo back soon, and feel back to normal.

What a beautiful way to distract yourself from all that discomfort. I just adore this album with all of those wonderfully angelic cherub faces. It reminds me of some Jackson Brown lyrics:
    “And upon their angel faces
    Life’s expectations climb
Where the moment has preserved them
    From the ravages of time”

    Kind of says it all.
Wishing you a rapid and uneventful recovery!
