Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Technique Thursday}

June 11, 2007

The challenge at Technique Thursday was to get out your chalks and use them…so I did just that…lots of chalk, q-tips and gunky fingers…but so fun all the same.

Both cards feature all justjohanna rubber stamps. Chalked backgrounds, handcut images (with more chalk) and vintage photos.
Very fun! Hope you will try the challenge also!

    Hello Nancy! Lovely cards. I specially like the second one, where the little girls holds a big flower. Nice use of chalks. When I started scrapbooking I think I used chalk in almost everything I did but now not anymore. This challenge is great to pick my chalks again :)

    These are wonderful! I think that I may need to start joining some of these technique groups. Maybe then I would start using some of this stuff that I just having laying around here!

    They are both so delicate and pretty.
    Love the teacups background in particular. Absolutely adorable.
    I should get my chalks out too, they have been left unused for too long.
