I made this last Sunday for the challenge at Gothic Arch Challenge and finally found some time to post it today. The past week has been a reflection on life for me. My Dad’s two year anniversary since he past away was last Monday, and on that day I had been notified that two soldiers from my son’s company had been killed by another soldier from their own company. Devasting news and I have kept them in my prayers as they rebuild their trust. I also pray for the two families that lost their son’s, I cannot imagine the pain they are in right now. :(
I am still “adjusting” to attending school and had some doubts about it on and off this week. I figure that I waited 26 years to return and I am sticking to it. Of course, this means sacrifices which now seems to be my creative and blogging time.
I can’t help but think of this bible verse this week:
For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
