Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Toys Gothic Arch}

August 2, 2009

This weeks theme at Gothic Arches is “Toys – Vintage or Favorite Childhood”. I really wanted to create something with some of my favorite childhood toys but my art was not cooperating. I loved to play with Barbie’s and dolls…but one of my all time favorite toys was Fisher Price Little People. We called it playing “boys” maybe because the people looked like little boys either way this is what we called it. I still have many of the pieces from my childhood and have many fond memories.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.
