Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Vintage Dreams Fabric Journal}

August 15, 2011

The cooler temps here in Michigan (I am in heaven) made my mojo go to fabric. Something about sewing when it is dreary or cool cheers my soul. I had fun this past week putting together a little fabric journal using all sorts of different textures, vintage laces, mother of pearl buttons, and old jewelry bits. I love spilling vintage laces out and selecting what will go into a project…and I can never have enough to play with! Lots of bead work went into this piece too.

This fabric journal is available at my Etsy shop: SOLD!
