Sugar Lump Studios

Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Vintage Hanging Skinny’s}

April 9, 2009

I took a little time out to create something today (it has been about two weeks now?) and used this tin type photo collage image from Jamie at Art-e-ology in each skinny. Added some eggs, ephemera, primas, pins, and buttons. Nothing fancy – just wanted to try and find my mojo again.

I should have been cleaning house today for Easter dinner and company on Sunday. Sgt. Sugarlump is on his way home (from the Army base in Georgia) so that will make it a “egg-stra” special Easter. I am happily settling into my new studio area (and my boxer Hailey is thankful that I can play “in and out” with her all day long…but getting used to a new set-up and organization system for supplies has been a little difficult.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    I think it's safe to say your mojo is well and truly back Nancy because these are divine.
    I hope you're enjoying your new crafting space. I loved your previous posts showing your storage finds…and how you altered them x

    Hi again, Nancy! Spring has fully sprung here! The pear trees, saucer magnolias, and daffodils have passed. The cherry trees, dogwoods, and wisteria are now in bloom. :-)
