Vintage Treasures Paper Bag Album

Supplies:

Standard Size Lunch Bags
Distress Ink
Various Pattern Paper
Ribbon Ephemera
Buttons
Old Bingo Card Numbers
Double Sided Tape
Heart Glitter Stickers
Small Jewelry Tags
Filigree Rubber Stamp
E6000 Glue
Graphics Fairy Postcard
Hearts #11 French Floral
Tags #5 Vintage Text
Sisters 1 Collage Sheet
Bind It All (optional)

Technique:

(1) I used 5 standard size lunch bags to create this album. Please refer to this video clip to see how it was put together…the artist has even more details for creating fancier covers. It will give you a better concept of folding the bags and getting them into place. Your paperbag album can be as simple or fancy schmancy as you wish.

(2) Once your album (bags) has been put together, start decorating with pattern papers. I distressed the edges of my pattern papers.

(3) Go through the album and start adding ephemera, tags, images, stickers, throughout.

(4) Add ribbon or lace to tags. Tuck bits of ephemera or journal cards inside the bag ends.

Please see this Youtube link for additional ways to create a Paper Bag album:

I was just going to comment similar to Marjorie, I’d almost forgotten about paper bag albums, haven’t made one in years. But still have a ton of new paper bags I ordered in bulk of 1000 when I thought I’d use every one! LOL! Looks like time to revisit those bags! Thanks Nancy!

There you go giving me that morning inspiration once again. This is really a “Little Treasure”
I bought the bags a while back, looks like I have lots of items to use, so maybe, just maybe I can get started. And the tutorial is great help, and I remember I was going to sort thru family pictures to use for this, so now I have 2 projects.
You have some wonderful pages within. Thanks once again.
