Art by Nancy Maxwell James

{Whimsical Altered Books}

September 20, 2010

Hubby and I went to the Antique Mall for a quick visit last week. His knee prevented us from walking around much, but he wanted to get out of the house. I love to pick up books to alter (and other items) there. I made these this weekend with the books we found. The first is a cabinet card that has been mounted on the front of a vintage book. The second two have more of a spooky feel. Paper Whimsy images collaged on the front of each and some bits and baubles…Happy Monday! :)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.
