Whimsical Pyramid Box Christmas Ornaments

November 4, 2009

I made these pyramid box Christmas ornaments from metallic cardboard and altered them using sparkly ribbon, buttons, flowers, fairies (Paper Whimsy)and wings. Each wing has glitter on the edges. I hope to have more available in my Etsy shop later this week.

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    Hi Nancy,
This is my first visit to your space. You create such careful, beautiful pieces. So much mixed-media stuff out there is just derivative, not really inspired, and certainly not very crafted. My visit to your collection left me feeling altered (in a good way). The music is a delicious choice.
