{Whispers Vintage Fabric Collage Book}

What do you do to beat the heat? This past week has been miserable in Michigan (and in most parts of the country) with heat. Saturday we hit a high of 102 degrees. Insane. It makes me ill. Seriously ill just like I had the flu. Today was a relief when the high was only 82 degrees. I was able to do a much longer walk this morning with my brother, and my hubby is able to join us when the knee is good.

This lace book is a labor of “beating the heat” love. I created in the central air (so grateful for it) using various vintage images and laces. The book is a larger scale then I usually work with and measures 9 1/2 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide. Oodles of vintage laces in this piece. I will have it listed on my Etsy site also.

Kane was over twice this weekend to beat the heat. His Dad doesn’t have air conditioning. He is now 5 months old and rather handsome if I do say so myself! :) He also LOVES posing for his photo.

I hope that cooler temps have come your way!
