Just checking in and finally getting a new blog post up! I can’t believe it has been two weeks since my last post. I am slowly getting back to myself and figure at the 6 week mark (3 weeks away) I should be feeling much more “normal”!

This is a fabric collage flag I titled “White Shoulders” using a freebie Paper Whimsy image from a few years ago. My Mom always wore the perfume “White Shoulders” when I was growing up and for some reason the image made me think of that while it was being created.

Happy Monday!

    Dear Nancy
This is exquisite and what a beautiful PW image that is.
It is so touching that it reminds you of the perfume you mother wore.

When I saw the title to your post, I thought of the perfume, as it was my Mom’s favorite perfume also. Such a pretty scent. Your work is just beautiful, Nancy. You really inspire me!

Oh so so gorgeous Nancy. Lovely to see you blogging again. I do hope you are feeling so very much better lately!!??
Know what you mean about your mother’s perfume. I too can still remember certain fragrances associated with my darling mother who very sadlydied when I was only 18.
Love your previous little book – simply stunning!
    Healing hugs,
    Suzy

Oh very sweet Nancy! I love the theme you chose too. The layers of lace and fabric look romantic!
I am glad to see you getting creative. I too, have felt the pull of fabric collage and hope to do some soon as well.
I am so hoping the 3 weeks left will effect a good change in your recovery. I will be sending you an e-mail soon.

Gorgeous, gorgeous work! My mom also wore “White Shoulders” perfume. I can still smell it if I concentrate…..deep rooted memories.
