My Heart Artist Trading Cards

August 11, 2021

Sometimes you only have a little time in day to create and on days like that I make little things. These are two Artist Trading Cards (ATC’s) made using digital background printouts, pattern papers, computer phrase print outs, and collage images.

What I love about ATC’s is they can be layered up to add to a card back, a tag, journals, etc. I always like to add just a little cardstock as a backing/border because it gives extra dimension in my opinion.

{Winter ATC’s}

November 24, 2020

I am sharing a few winter Artist Trading cards from the archives today. Way back in 2009! They are still some of my favorite cards. Made with a combination of collage images, layering, stamping, glitter, snowflake punches, and star embellishments.

I have not been creating much (if at all) the past few weeks. I have my grandson often and he is a little bundle of energy. I rest when he does or when he is not here.

I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe!

Silver Threads ATC

November 4, 2020

This little ATC I made last week with a few others when I had some creative time. The background papers are from Tim Holtz, image is from Lisa’s Collage Art, washi tape, dictionary pages, computer text, and mounted on to cardstock.

When I first started making ATC’s back in 2006, I always used them to trade with other art friends. Over the years, I have discovered other uses as well. Mounting them on to other layers for a card, junk journals, Christmas ornaments on a tree, they are so versatile.

How have you used ATC’s?

{Little “Photo booth” ATC’s}

January 17, 2017

I’m sharing a few “photo booth” ATC’s I made recently. I love old pictures of any kind, but some of the photo booth photos from long ago are just too beautiful. I have a few of my own parent’s that I hold very dear. I think the little boy is my favorite.

Happy Tuesday!
