Sharing a little gothic arch with you today. Something super simple, but I really love the blue of this pattern paper and wanted to showcase it with not too much collage. Spring keeps coming and going here in Michigan, but I know it will be here soon!
My first ICAD features my family taken long ago. My Paternal Grandmother, Aunt, Uncle’s and Dad as a little boy are all featured here in Detroit, Michigan. I guesstimate it was taken in the early 1930’s. I used Sam Poole Designs Shabby Roses Digital Papers, hymnal sheet, lace, buttons, paint, washi tape, ephemera, and cardstock to create this collage.
My second ICAD features a beautiful photo booth image. I also used Sam Poole Designs Digital papers, washi tapes, paint, ephemera, buttons, lace, and cardstock. I love the size of a 3 x 5 collage. They can be incorporated into so many other things (journals, pockets, tags, and cards) for use.
I am still on the “sea” theme. Maybe because it keeps snowing here and then it warms up.
This Gothic arch features the Seaside Dreams Digital kit papers from Ruby and Pearlxo again. I then added a family photo, buttons, coffee stained tag, postcard and cardstock to the back of the paper arch.
The quote is from E.E. Cummings – “For whatever we lose (like a you or a me} it’s always ourselves we find in the sea.”
