These little tags were made using fabric images that were sew in layers as “mini” fabric collages. Once the collage was made, I incorporated them on to pieces of corrugated cardboard. Little stamped tags, mini clothespins and twine were added. On the back, a bit of poetry was added.
I am tickled to share this fabric book that I completed today with you. I had fun creating it and using many vintage/antique items throughout. I have oodles of laces, doiles, fabric flowers, ribbons, fabrics and a vintage quilt heart as well. I love that is is done in the cream and aqua/blue shades for something different. I hope you enjoy it too!
It will be going into my Etsy shop: Sugar Lump Studios.
Hello! It has been a few weeks since I last posted. There are many changes coming my way, and this past week I listed my home for sale. This has been something very difficult to physically (and emotionally) deal with because of not knowing where I will be living, and what will happen. So far, the requests to see my home have been very positive, but keeping up with it and trying to clear and purge things overwhelming.
Since I have not had time to create, I am sharing some prayer flags from my archives with you. I thought they were suitable considering all that is going on. I hope you are enjoying your summer wherever you are…and staying cool. Finally, a wee break in the heat here.
