Sugar Lump Studios - A Sweet Smattering of Mixed Media Art

{Do All Things With Love – 8 x 8 Canvas}

June 4, 2018

Hello and Happy June!

I wanted to share this little 8 x 8 canvas I recently completed. The base has been painted a soft sea foam green over various pattern papers. I added bits of vintage laces and mother of pearl buttons as well. The image was mounted on to a piece of corrugated cardboard. I have also incorporated a small  escutcheon plate to the piece as well.

I’ve been keeping busy with a new little friend. His name is Tucker, and I adopted him in April after I lost my 14 year old cat Sophie. Tucker was about 5 months old when he came home. He is in that piss and vinegar stage right now, but at night he is so sweet and sleeps right next to me. I enjoy him very much and love his markings!
