Sugar Lump Studios - A Sweet Smattering of Mixed Media Art

{Four Years Passed…}

April 22, 2010

The Warrior’s Walk at Fort Stewart, Georgia commemorates fallen soldiers who have given their lives during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Today marks my son Andrew’s last day as a soldier serving in the U.S. Army. He has completed more than 4 years of service, a 13 month tour to Iraq and will be returning home to Michigan this weekend.

I wanted to thank each of you for the love, support, and prayers the past few years. You helped to keep me strong during his time away.

I look forward to “getting to know” my son again…the “man” he has grown to be.

Bless each of you and may God Bless Our Troops! :)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.
