These Harvest Journal Pockets were very easy to create and incorporate many different elements. I used double sided pattern paper that was cut in two 4 x 6 pieces. You could also cut a piece that is 12 inches long by 8 inches and fold at the bottom. The bottom and sides were stitched together and the top had a half circle punched out.
On the front is a layering of digital collage tags that were printed, coin envelopes that were collaged and sewn ahead of attaching. Then have small bits of text, collage image (pears) and a hymnal verse. I also added two brown buttons.
The project would take a totally different look if the pattern paper was in fall hues. I decided on the blue to pick up the sky color in the collage image.
