Happy November! I cannot believe it is here already.

Last December, I broke down and bought a Sizzix machine. I’m a later bloomer to join in on this crafter must have. I have been getting die cuts when I can, and it really has been a new addiction to try and make things with them. This past week, I have been working on some very simple cards. Something so simple is a little more difficult for me now. In many ways, it is a form of OT/PT for my hand to try and glue tiny items etc. Stickles are have especially been a challenge.

So here are just a few. I have been gathering more ideas for my “Sizzix” dies on Pinterest and as the cold weather approaches, I hope to try them out more.

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

I too have thought about getting a Sizzex, but so far I’ve not done it. At this point I’m not sure I can justify the cost! I’ve been out of order on my craft desk since last April when we got two mini dachshunds but I really need to get back to it. I didn’t even get Halloween cards made for my grandkids!! Shame on me! I love the cards you’ve done. I’ll admit I’ve used your creations as inspiration many times. And I can not believe it’s November!!!!!
    Take care.

Simplicity is beautiful in itself. I love your cards! And they are practical in that if you mail them they are not too bulky. Thanks for sharing them, Nancy. Happy November! Hugs, Sue

Your Pinterest share is lovely~ And the cards you’ve made are so beautiful and inspiring!
I have, for years, lurked ; ) about your blog for inspiration and encouragement.
Watching your strength and determination these many months has been insightful; you’re a blessing Nancy! Your cards have put me in the Christmas creating mood – but I haven’t taken the leap to DO it! I hope to try a mitten soon~ Have a great week, Karen O

I love your beautiful cards, dearest friend, they are adorable with all the old images, and the die cuts. I`m also still happy for my Big Shott ,and used it now and then. I think many dies are awfully expensive, and when only playing for fun, it is sometimes too much money to use, so I have started mostly using the cheaper ones, even I love Tim Holz dies !!
Nancy, your fighter mood in continuing to teach your hand and fingers, to cooperate with working with little pieces ,is amazing, and you are doing so wonderfully my friend.
Happy November to you I will look forward seing new cards coming !!

Your cards are so pretty, and aren’t dies so much fun? They are addicting, I agree. It is like magic to send them through the machine and see what comes out. It is good to see you able to create.
