Hello From Snowy and Freezing Cold Michigan! Wow did we get pelted this week with it. I haven’t seen this much snow in a LONG time. January is usually this way in my state…but the sun is shining oh so bright today and that makes my soul very happy!
Since I’m hiding inside (more than usual) I created this fabric Valentine album using old vintage post card images printed on to fabric transfer sheets, lace, doilies, and the extra touch of a handmade “Love” charm.
Hope you are staying warm in your part of the world! :)
Oh so sweet! And that charm is so rustic-ly perfect!
This is so sweet.. I see I’m repeating the previous comment, but that’s what instantly came to my mind. Just beautiful. I so love vintage lace, crochet and the vintage postcard images made into this wonderful journal. Keep warm.
Gorgeous book, Nancy. I absolutely love, love, love it!!!
This is so beautiful Nancy! The lace and images – so elegant! Stay warm! We just got over the effects of the “Polar Vortex”! This Saturday is supposed to hit 50! Crazy roller coaster! xo
I love it! It’s so pretty and vintage looking.
I also live in MI, just outside Pt. Huron and I’m so glad we’re coming out of the snow and deep freeze! This January so far has been unreal, even for Michigan!
Hi Nancy! What a beautiful little book. I hope that your New Year is off to a great start, and it looks like it has! Hugs, Sue
I can’t find the word in my broken English to describe how much I like your journal! It is really awesome…every page is unique and fantastic…I wish I can make something like this!
Hugs from Slovenia
so beautiful Nancy-and such a wonderful way to use the doilies! As I’m typing we are getting more snow, and then tomorrow they want heavy rain and temps to go up to the high 50’s-very strange weather here the last few weeks. Stay warm!
Oh it is adorable Nancy,
all the sweet old images of Valentine, and the many different laces , are all making this journal a beautiful art piece to treasure for years.
I hope you can stay warm and cozy inside, dear and that it helps with a new battery !!
Smiles and hugs, Dorthe
So very lovely!
What a gorgeous fabric journal, dear Nancy! I love this.
Thank you for your nice comment and your congratulations on my blog-birthday. I have thrown your name into the big lottery pot:-)
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs Martina
This is so beautiful, almost beyond words with its textures and colours.
Hello Nancy,
This is such a lovely lace book! You make the most wonderful design choices! All that lace on the lower part of each page really adds to the weight and luxury of the book. The images looks amazing and your little love charm is fantastic!
Hugs, and keep warm : )

This is so beautiful, Nancy. What a wonderful way to give back life to the vintage lace and doilies. I also love your charm, such a a great contrast to the softness of all the fabric.

Excuse my english…from Buenos Aires, I admire you!!!!
Hi hi, I have never done a fabric album before. From where I leave it’s easy to get hold of all kinds of different laces but just wondering about where or how to get those print images on fabric? Would you be so kind to advise and share some tips? Thanks Anita
