Sugar Lump Studios - A Sweet Smattering of Mixed Media Art

{Meet My New Grandson}

August 11, 2019

Grandma Nancy and Malcolm

I would like to introduce you to my first Grandchild who was born Thursday, August 8, 2019. He weighed 8 pounds – 10 ounces and was 21 3/4 inches long.

My son Ian and his wife Heather, have decided to give him a Scottish name as well. I am pleased to introduce…Malcolm Stewart.

Stewart was my Dad’s first name, and my Great-Great Grandmother’s maiden name.

I have no words on how I feel about being a Grandma. Four days later, I still stare at his picture and tears flow. It doesn’t seem real because I waited for what I felt was a long time to become a Grandma.

Still pinching myself that he is here! :-)

About Sugar Lump Studios

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums...pattern papers, stamping, fabric, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments. I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

    congratulations Nancy – what a beautiful little boy and a perfect Scottish name! both of my sons were born in Scotland as we were stationed at an Air Force station there. enjoy every minute with him and be glad you live near so you can hold him often and read to him and create memories.
