This little Christmas folder was made in the holiday spirit. I used watercolor paper as the folder base. I like how it is much thicker then cardstock and holds up nicely.
On the front cover, I decorated it using a variety of collage images, ephemera bits, punched snowflakes, and buttons. I added silver stickles to the printed postcard.
The Santa image is actually a scan from an old postcard that was sent to my Great Uncle as a child. I just love the art work!
Inside the folder I added pockets. To decorate them I cut a paper doily in half and glued it to the front of pocket. Torn strips of musical paper and snowflakes were added to the bottom. Inside each pocket I tucked other ephemera, tags, and images.
Just something fun and easy peasy to create.
Always so much fun seeing your creations, Nancy! I’m enjoying your blog postings very much even if I cannot comment every time. Hope you’ve been well and are having a good holiday season. Hope you keep up the blog posts. I’m really watching my social media exposure now, so old school blogging and Pinterest are about it for me. I smile when I think back to when we were having fun on Flickr – LOL. A lifetime ago! XOX, Aimeslee
