I made this little spool shrine last year and never was able to get it photographed and posted. The little box was painted with white craft paint inside and out. Once dry, I added some sheet music to the back. A very simple fabric collage was also added in the center. Next, little vintage spools had little pieces of lace attached to them. I also added a little bit of song lyrics on the inside.
Still waiting for spring (it was trying to snow this morning), but the sun is different so I know it is coming soon!
Oh, Nancy, so sweet, so breath-taking! I love the little touches you have hidden on different surfaces, the extra words, the lovely lace at the side. The spools of laces look divine with this gorgeous babe. Ohhhh! Sigh!
