I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and enjoyed your time with family and friends. The past two days, I have spent just resting and being cozy. Good food, movies, computer, and some deep kitchen cleaning. I always get the cleans, purge and organize during the holiday time.
This is part of a fabric journal I made in 2014. I felt it was time to “re-share” it with all of you.

I hope you are staying warm and cosy wherever you are and enjoying the season!
I am sharing something from Christmas past 2017 today. My prep for Christmas has really started and it takes me twice as long now.
This little angel bag I made using an old bedspread, fabric angel photo, and various laces and trims. Inside the bag, I added white shred paper, a vintage cookie cutter, small silver Christmas ornaments and a big beautiful jeweled snowflake.
My card today is all neutral tones. I really love how it plays off the beautiful antique image. I layered textured cardstock, pattern paper, watercolor paper that I tore edges on (I also ran through my embossing folder.)
A digital tag was printed and the vintage image layered on top. I then took it to my sewing machine and did two different stitches on it. The bit of vintage ruffled lace I glued down using Fabric Tac. A tea stained tag was placed on with a leaf punch in book text. A scripture verse from an Old Hymnal and mother of pearl buttons were glued down as well.
